‘Outwitting Cancer’ is a fantastic exhibition at the Francis Crick Institute, about the amazing work scientists at the Crick are doing to understand cancer and find new treatments, to “decode cancer – recode the future”.
Open since Sep 2021, ‘Outwitting Cancer’ has been extended until Dec 3rd 2022 to allow more visitors to see this important exhibition.

The exhibition is open from Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm (10am to 8pm on Wednesdays) and there’s no need to book.

I was thrilled to be asked by the Crick to draw Liam, a patient whose CAR T-cell treatment is featured in the exhibition, for part of the display. The drawing was made in 2020 via video call, which was recorded and I also made a time lapse film of the drawing.

Thank you very much to Liam for posing and thank you to the Crick for inviting me to contribute, in a small way, to this brilliant exhibition!

That’s great that there’s still time to see it again. Thank you. Xxx
